Where did 2019 go? I’ve filled my time with school and family but have neglected to add anything to this blog. 2020 will be different! My goal is to get back to the keyboard and pick up where I left off.
Thank you to all who have encouraged me to get back to this! Part of why I started this blog was to share my thoughts with you; however, I often hesitate to write because I don’t want to be motivated by thinking people want to listen to me. I’m more interested in simply writing out my thoughts, and if there are nuggets that you are able to find as a blessing, challenge, or encouragement, I see that as an added bonus!
The reason for my absence, for the most part, is that I’ve become the administrator of our Christian school. I’m halfway through year two! It has been challenging but in a very good way. I still have much to learn. On top of administrating, I’m still teaching a few classes. Many things that I write about, I’m sure, will come from one of those two experiences.
As I start this new decade, my mind goes back to all that happened in the last. Marriage, college and seminary graduations, the birth of my two boys, moving to Maryland, teaching, and becoming a school administrator is an awful lot of big life events! Can this decade bring about that much change? I’m not sure what the Lord has in store, but my prayer is that I will grow ever closer to Him by 2030.
What resolutions have you made for this year and decade? I hope you choose to make your relationship with God a priority in 2020! You will never go wrong if you dedicate time to be continually…
Walking in Him.
